Following the commitment of Tarleton State transfer Keitenn Bristow on Wednesday, the Alabama Crimson Tide now have only a few spots remaining to fill on their 2025-26 basketball roster.

In an offseason loaded with movement, Alabama's 2025-26 roster currently sits at 11 total players after factoring in the returning names, combined with both transfer portal and incoming freshmen additions. Included in this group are familiar names such as Aden Holloway and Latrell Wrightsell Jr., along with a few others you will likely become familiarized with soon such as Noah Williamson, Jalil Bethea, and London Jemison.

However, as the calendar now flips to May, Alabama still have some holes left to fill on their 2025-26 roster, with many of the nation's top players to have entered the transfer portal seemingly already having made decisions, as well as at the high school level.

So, with that thought in mind, just how does Alabama fill their final roster spots for next season? Well, let's take a look at a few options.

Could Labaron Philon return to Alabama?

After a strong freshman season at Alabama in which he averaged 10.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game on 45.2% shooting from the field, Philon announced in April that we would be entering the 2025 NBA draft. However, Philon could still withdraw his name from the draft to return to Alabama next season, but is a decision the guard would have to make by June 15.

A storyline to monitor over the next couple of weeks, should Philon remain in the NBA draft, then the Alabama guard likely projects as a late-first or second round pick. Should Philon opt-to return to Alabama however, then the guard would be a massive addition to the Crimson Tide's 2025-26 backcourt, penciled in as a returning starter.

Alabama Crimson Tide transfer portal targets

You could make the argument that Alabama fills their final roster spots by adding through the transfer portal. The Crimson Tide have already added four players through the portal so far this offseason, and there are still Alabama a few targets who have yet to make decisions.

Included in this group is former Alabama guard Rylan Griffen, who averaged 6.3 points per game this past season at Kansas after transferring in. There are also some of the portal's top players still available such as PJ Haggerty, RJ Luis Jr., and Boogie Fland, but each are also exploring the NBA draft process.

While it may not be one of those names mentioned, it feels likely that Alabama could add at-least one more player via the transfer portal this offseason. Could it be a big splash?

Is Alabama done adding in the 2025 recruiting class?

Lastly, Alabama's 2025 recruiting class currently has three prospects signed in four-star's London Jemison, Davion Hannah, and Amari Allen. Could the Crimson Tide potentially add another name to that group?

When looking at the potential names available, there is only one Top 50 prospect nationally currently uncommitted in former Washington signee Niko Bundalo, but it is unknown if Alabama would even have interest. This is probably the most unlikely of the three options to fill the final spots, but you can never truly count anything out entirely.
