Aerials kick off season in Grand Rapids with impressive results

Oct. 9—GRAND RAPIDS — The Bemidji Aerials club gymnastics program started its season in Grand Rapids at the Pink at the Rink invite, held on Sept.13, 2025.

Eleven gymnasts combined athletic forces to earn a team score of 108.2good enough for third place.

Leading the way in the Silver Jr. A Division, Brooklyn Winkler scored a 34.150 in the all-around. Kylen Forbes scored a 34.05; Adalee Colley scored a 34.025; Blake Thomas had a 33.350 and Violet Furuseth compiled a total of 33.125, which included a third-place vault finish at 8.85.

Competing in the Jr. B Division were Bailey Barckholtz and Harper Conger. Barckholtz had a strong presence, earning an all-around score of 35.225. Conger finished in fourth place with an all-around score of 35.225. She continued to dominate with a score of 9.175 on floor, which secured her a second-place finish. Conger didn't stop there, claiming third place on beam with a score of 9.0.

Briar Haman had a fantastic meet in the Sr. A Division with an all-around score of 34.6, which included a second-place finish on floor at 9.250.

Strong performances were delivered during the Sr. B Division, with Adeley Riedels' all-around score of 35.95. Emma Mulkey scored a 35.10, and Avery Iverson scored a 34.550.
