The 2026 Nike EYBL Peach Jam is in the books, and as always, it was a terrific event that allowed a lot of top recruits to show off their skills. One player stood out over the rest, though, and it's a player that the Kentucky Wildcats are working to lure to Lexington.
Cayden Daughtry is a 6'0", 155 lb point guard out of Florida. Coming into the Peach Jam, he was already rated five stars by 247Sports. They rank him as the No. 9 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class. However, after his performance this week, that ranking might go even higher.
Over the course of the event, Daughtry dominated. He averaged 32 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals per game, leading his team to the title. It was a remarkable run, and certainly caught the eyes of the coaches in attendance.
Kentucky is one of a large number of programs to have offered Daughtry, and more are sure to join his recruitment after his performance this week. His size was a concern for some coming into the Peach Jam. It shouldn't be anymore.
