The PFL is headed to America’s Finest City.

On Thursday, the PFL announced that the promotion will hold its first event in San Diego on June 27 at Pechanga Arena San Diego. The event will be headlined by a featherweight matchup between A.J. McKee and Salamat Isbulaev. Interestingly, despite the lack of a current featherweight champion, the PFL did not announced that this bout will be for the vacant title.

A former Bellator champion, McKee enters the bout on a two-fight winning streak since returning to the 145-pound division, most recently taking a unanimous decision over Adam Borics last month at PFL Madrid. McKee currently holds the No. 2 spot in the PFL promotional rankings.

Isbulaev, meanwhile, is undefeated in MMA, sporting a perfect 10-0 record. The 29-year-old Kazakh fighter made his promotional debut in Febuary, stopping former PFL champion Jesus Pinedo in the first round. Isbulaev is currently No. 6 in the PFL rankings.

The PFL has yet to announce any other fights for PFL San Diego.
