I watched this 2001 Steven Spielberg film for a second time last night. It deserves a second look.

IMO, except for a brief lull before the ending, it was brilliant. It deals with some deep human emotions besides science fiction.

The twin towers are visible in the film which may have impacted its legacy.

Agreed. The first time I saw it, I was kinda "meh" about it. The second time, I really came t appreciate it. Think I'll give it a 3rd watch.
