The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top five schools that four-star defensive back recruit Jerry Outhouse will decide among. The elite safety recruit is a member of the class of 2027 and recently trimmed his top schools down to Georgia, UCLA, Texas Tech, Arizona State and Florida.
Outhouse is set to announce his commitment on March 6. The Bulldogs are hoping to land a commitment from the rising senior. He plans to take officials visits to each of his top schools.
Outhouse plays high school football for North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound safety is ranked as the No. 144 recruit in the country and the No. 15 safety. Outhouse is the No. 19 prospect in Texas. He's the state's second-ranked safety prospect.
Georgia and coach Kirby Smart are interested in the North Crowley star, who plans to take an official visit to Georgia from June 12-14. Georgia defensive backs coach Donte Williams visited Outhouse recently on Jan. 27.
The four-star was named first-team All-District for his junior season. Outhouse is primarily a safety prospect, per 247Sports, but he also plays cornerback and could play cornerback or the slot cornerback position in college.
Regardless of his position, Outhouse's versatility helps him moving forward. In 2024, Outhouse posted 44 tackles and six interceptions at the 5A high school level in Texas.
