It's been just over 24 hours since the Ravens backed out of their blockbuster trade with the Las Vegas Raiders to acquire Maxx Crosby. There has been a lot said since then, including from Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta, much of which earned some healthy skepticism. The one person everyone was waiting to hear from was Crosby himself. And he just spoke up for the first time with a post on twitter.
"Everything Happens For A Reason," said Crosby in a twitter post. "Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See. I'm a Raider. I'm Back. Run That Sh*t." along with an eagle (condor) emoji and a pirate flag and a GIF of The Undertaker coming out of a flaming coffin.
That's about as much of a statement as to his commitment to being all in with the Raiders as it gets.
It's likely a relief for the Raiders and the fans as reports had Crosby having quietly requested the Raiders work out a trade and they went out honoring that request only to be rebuffed by the Ravens with Crosby and his family in Baltimore ready to make it official.
Now Crosby is back in Las Vegas and the question was whether his feelings had changed any or if he was still interested in having the Raiders seek a trade partner. It would seem he's done with that and ready to get back to work as a member of the Raiders again.
