Rori Harmon patiently waited to hear her name called Monday night and she went early in the third round of the 2026 WNBA Draft.
The assist and steal leader for Texas women’s basketball was selected 34th by the Washington Mystics and joins an impressive rookie class that features two UCLA Bruins.

Two of @TexasWBB's last three starting point guards have been third-round picks by the Washington Mystics. Sug Sutton has enjoyed a nice career since being taken with the 36th overall pick in 2020. We'll see what Rori Harmon does after going 34th in 2026. #HookEm

I'm so happy for her right now. Go do great things, even against my Dallas Wings. @WashMystics fans got a hard worker and even a better person in Rori Harmon. Could be the steal of the draft this year. https://t.co/f5JnHwwD0R
