The Vancouver Canucks were the NHL’s worst team during the 2025-26 season. Because of this, they traded away several players ahead of the deadline, including former captain Quinn Hughes.

It is no secret that the Canucks are rebuilding. Because of this, more of their veterans will likely be on the move during the summer.

Brock Boeser could be one of Vancouver’s top trade candidates to watch during the off-season. Due to this, let’s look at three teams that could look to acquire the former 40-goal scorer.

Boston Bruins​

The Boston Bruins have long been linked to Boeser, and it would not be shocking in the slightest if they pursued him during the summer. One of their biggest needs heading into the off-season is a legitimate top-six right winger, and Boeser would give them just that if acquired.

If the Bruins acquired Boeser from the Canucks, he could form a nice trio with Pavel Zacha and James Hagens on Boston’s second line next season. He would also give the Bruins another power-play scorer, which would take a little less pressure off David Pastrnak in those situations.

New Jersey Devils​

The New Jersey Devils disappointed immensely this season and missed the playoffs as a result. With the Devils performing far below expectations this campaign, they should be on the hunt for forward help this summer. They need another a top-six winger, so it would make sense if they pursued Boeser during the offseason.

Boeser would have the potential to be a strong fit on a line with Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt if acquired. He would give that line a true sniper to work with, and that could boost New Jersey’s offense significantly.

Chicago Blackhawks​

The Chicago Blackhawks could be a dark-horse team to watch when it comes to Boeser. Although they have a ton of promising prospects in their system, Connor Bedard could also use some proven NHL talent around him on their first line. Therefore, a player like Boeser could have the potential to grab Chicago’s attention this summer.

Boeser would also be more than a rental for the rebuilding Blackhawks if acquired, which adds to his appeal. This is because he is signed through the end of the 2031-32 season, with a $7.25 million cap hit.
