Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star defensive end Jayce Brewer named Tennessee in his top six schools, along with Indiana, Purdue, Kentucky, Michigan and Auburn, according to Steve Wiltfong of On3.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound prospect is from Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 26 defensive end in the class and No. 5 player in Indiana.
Tennessee offered Brewer a scholarship on Feb. 20, 2025. He visited Tennessee for Big Orange BBQ on May 31, 2025.
Toledo was the first school to offer Brewer a scholarship on May 2, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Illinois, Michigan State, Boston College, Wisconsin, Western Michigan, Notre Dame, Louisville, Florida, Maryland, Bowling Green, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Iowa, Penn State, Arizona State, USC, LSU, Texas A&M, Ohio State, North Carolina, Missouri and Oregon.
Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife and quarterback Derrick Baker.
