A day after Morocco and France secured a spot in the quarterfinals, the Round of 16 continues today with a pair of scintillating fixtures, with five-time winners Brazil squaring off against a Norwegian side fronted by the inimitable Erling Haaland, who has bagged five goals in three matches.
No disrespect to Brazil or Norway, but this evening’s clash between England and Mexico at the Azteca is the marquee matchup of the weekend. With five goals of his own, Harry Kane has the Three Lions rolling, but he will come up against co-host Mexico at the Azteca, the crown jewel of North American football stadiums.
We should be in store for 180 minutes (if not more) of sensational football today. Emjoy!
