2026 NFL draft: New York Giants' remaining picks after Day 1

The New York Giants kicked off the 2026 NFL draft in strong fashion on Day 1, using their two first-round selections to bolster both sides of the ball.

With the No. 5 overall pick, they selected Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese, adding athleticism and pass-rush potential to the front seven. At No. 10 overall—the pick acquired from the Cincinnati Bengals in the Dexter Lawrence trade—they drafted Miami offensive lineman Francisco Mauigoa to fortify the trenches.


Following those moves, the Giants retain six picks across the remaining rounds as they look to add depth during Days 2 and 3 in Pittsburgh. Their current selections are:

• Round 2: No. 37 overall
• Round 4: No. 105 overall
• Round 5: No. 145 overall
• Round 6: No. 186 overall
• Round 6: No. 192 overall (acquired from Miami in the Darren Waller trade)
• Round 6: No. 193 overall (acquired from Dallas in the Jordan Phillips deal)

New York lacks a third-round or seventh-round pick.

With Reese and Mauigoa in the fold, the team can now target positions like wide receiver, defensive back, or interior defensive line to help continue the rebuild under head coach John Harbaugh.
