Among the wide receivers the Bills met with at the 2026 NFL combine in Indianapolis is Alabama wideout Germie Bernard, per the Buffalo News.

Buffalo is actively evaluating talent to strengthen their receiving corps and passing game.

At 6-foot-1 and 204 pounds, Bernard hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, and made a case for his draft stock while playing for the Crimson Tide in the SEC. In a productive 2025, he started in all 13 games, recording 50 receptions for 794 yards and six touchdowns in one of college football's most talented offenses.

He was originally a transfer from Washington, who eventually found his footing at Alabama, where he contributed as a receiver and punt returner. He also notably chose to return for the 2025 season rather than enter the draft due to his belief in the program's direction.

The receiver has since steadily improved his stock throughout that campaign and the pre-draft process. A combination of size, athleticism, and experience in a pro-style offense makes him a prospect for NFL teams looking for depth at the position.

His ability to work intermediate routes with physicality at the catch point and willingness to go over the middle have gained the attention of clubs at the pro level.

At the combine, Bernard measured in at 6-foot-1 and 209 pounds with a solid athletic profile. His SEC pedigree and experience playing in big games add to his appeal as a prospect who can contribute early in his NFL career.

Bills GM Brandon Beane is active in the search for talent to pair with Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense. The receiving corps has some open spots on the depth chart that he aiming to fill.

Bernard projects as a mid-round selection and would be an option if the Bills go for a receiver with their third round pick.
