It’s almost time for the 2026 Kentucky Derby. That’s right, the first leg of the Triple Crown is this weekend — and the weather prediction for the Kentucky Derby looks positive so far. Renegade drew the No. 1 post position for Saturday’s race, but the derby oddsstill have him as the 4-1 morning-line favorite for the 152nd Kentucky Derby. The official race will air on NBC (and stream on Peacock) with a post time of 6:57 p.m. ET. Supplemental coverage will air on NBCSN and stream live on Peacock. Coverage of the 152nd Run for the Roses will begin as early as 12 p.m. ET (on Peacock and NBCSN) and 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The actual race won't begin until after 6:30 ET, with the current post time set for 6:57 p.m. ET.
