The Genesis Scottish Open has reached the weekend without the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world. Scottie Scheffler missed the cut for the first time in nearly four years, ending a streak of 78 straight. Matt Fitzpatrick takes over the active cuts made streak on the PGA Tour. He made his 28th straight on Friday.
It's a three-way tie for the lead with Rory McIlroy joining Tom Kim and Jordan Smith at 9 under at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick. Fitzpatrick is tied for fourth alongside Min Woo Lee.
