Coming into this offseason, the Carolina Panthers haven't had a player featured on the NFL Top 100 since 2023. Well, that changed on Tuesday—and it's a bit of a shocker.

As announced this morning, quarterback Bryce Young has cracked NFL Films' annual list—coming in at No. 98. The fourth-year passer placed just ahead of Indianapolis Colts guard Quenton Nelson (No. 99) and New Orleans defensive end Cameron Jordan (No. 100).

As you might expect, Young is being humble about the honor. Here's what he had to say about it, per Darin Gantt of Panthers.com:

"I mean, I'm grateful for it, but I can't let that be a motivating factor for me," Young said when asked about the realization that his game has improved. "I think in sports, just in life, there's going to be ups, there's going to be downs. I can't control stuff like that, so I think for me, even if it is positive at the time, I can't flip-flop. I just focus on the work here. You know, that's all that matters."

Young finished with career-highs in completion rate (63.6 percent), passing yards (3,011 yards) and passing touchdowns (23) this past season. He also helped lead the Panthers to their first playoff berth since 2017 and their first NFC South title since 2015.

The last Panther to make the list was outside linebacker Brian Burns, who took the No. 54 spot in three years ago.

Other Carolina players who have a case to join Young include wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, defensive tackle Derrick Brown and cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson.
