We are now a handful of days into the NFL's free agency period, and still quite a few of the Indianapolis Colts' own free agents remain unsigned at this point.
In recent days, the Colts have re-signed Daniel Jones, Alec Pierce, and Blake Grupe. GM Chris Ballard has also added to the defensive front, signign Micheal Clemons, Arden Key, and Derrick Nnadi.
Ballard has also traded Zaire Franklin and Michael Pittman.
Below is a look at which Colts' free agents are still searching for a landing spot. The Colts entered the offseason with a fairly big free agent class.
A dependable and blocking heavy presence for the Colts' offense. A reunion would still make sense, given the Colts' lack of tight end depth.
Ogletree was a restricted free agent this offseason. However, by being non-tendered by the Colts, he became an unrestricted free agent and was able to sign where he pleased. Ogletree brings another blocking-first presence to the offense.
The addition of Pratt early on in the season helped provide some stability at linebacker for the Colts. Pratt finished his season with the Colts recording 101 total tackles and holding pass-catchers to 10.1 yards per reception. He also had one interception and three pass breakups.
As the season went on, Abdullah's role increased, and he began sharing the RB2 snaps with Tyler Goodson or taking on that role on his own when Goodson was sidelined. Abdullah also handled kick return duties without Anthony Gould.
A veteran interior offensive line presence, Pinter can play both center and guard positions. The Colts are very short on experienced offensive line depth.
Lewis can line up both inside and out. He recorded a modest 17 pressures each of the last two seasons. Clemons will fill a role similar to what Lewis did in this Colts' defense.
