10 area players named to District 6 Class 1A volleyball all-star teams

There were 10 area players named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association District 6 Class 1A all-star teams.

Bishop Carroll Catholic juniors Olivia Gregg (outside hitter) and Emily Olienyk (middle blocker), Conemaugh Valley junior libero Maddie McCleester and Northern Cambria sophomore libero Sophia Fry were voted onto the first team.

Bishop McCort Catholic senior outside hitter Ava Zucco; Conemaugh Valley senior Makenna Campagna (outside hitter) and junior Mackenzie Bardell (middle blocker); and Northern Cambria senior Emilee Depetro (outside hitter) and Julie Dumm (middle blocker) and junior Lainey Vasil (outside hitter) were named to the second team.
