Bobby Krivitsky: A piece of advice Amile Jefferson got from the
Celtics’ recent Summer League head coaches was to experiment with conviction. I asked Jefferson if there were some examples of that he could share.
“We have a ton of amazing coaches, and they're all really creative. And so we put in a bunch of different things, game plan-wise, and we taught these guys a bunch of new techniques for stealing the ball, for…being defensive playmakers, and that's in a bunch of different ways. “And that's in practice, and then we try to implement it in the game. And then offensively, having coordinated attacks. And one of those things is like transition, not just talking about transition, but actually putting a game plan in for transition, things like that. “So just trying to be creative and find different ways to get things on film that maybe could help us during the season.”
