An anonymous NBA coach has warned basketball fans to temper expectations for the Philadelphia 76ers next season.
The 76ers immediately became the favourites to win the Eastern Conference after signing LeBron James in free agency.
They now have a star-studded starting five of James, Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown and Joel Embiid.
However, an NBA assistant claims the 76ers may struggle to incorporate James into their system as it is not “fantasy basketball”.

Fadeaway World spoke to several assistant coaches about LeBron James’ fascinating move to the Philadelphia 76ers.
One was particularly sceptical of James’ fit alongside four players who can all dominate basketball games individually.

“I’m shocked. He’s already experienced teaming up with talent before,” the anonymous coach explained.
“But it’s a real risky move to get Maxey, Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, Embiid and himself to co-exist and be on the same page. This isn’t fantasy basketball. It’s not that easy. He knows that.”
Meanwhile, they also shared concerns about James and Joel Embiid playing together, as they are both “slow and old.”
The assistant suggested it will be “hard to watch” the 76ers at times next season when the pair are slowing the game down.
“It’s scary. It can be unstoppable. Or it can be hard to watch. They’re both slow and old,” they added.
“When you get tired, and you drain the clock and are methodical and just isoing with brute force when you’re not young, spry and athletic, that can look awful.
“Everyone is just standing around. And then you end up falling down because you’re old.”
