    D'Backs/Rockies 04/26

It should have been on 680-1. It's too late for today's game, but it's on the same channel tomorrow. (suns game today, coyotes game tomorrow)

    D-Backs need a CLOSER

If it's the best offer, why wouldn't they? If they were on the verge of being competitive in the division then I would agree with you, but with where they are right now I don't see why that would be too big of an issue.

    D-Backs need a CLOSER

Arguably the best closer in the NL, yes. But he plays for a bad team who isn't going to be able to afford him when the time comes. I don't see why they wouldn't get what they can for him now. I would like the DBacks to at least explore the option and see what it would take.

    D-Backs need a CLOSER

The D-Backs need to get Heath Bell. Give them Parra and Zavada or another pitching prospect...I can't imagine it taking much more than that to get him at this point.

It Could be worse, we could have drafted Ginn Jr #5

Better to be over-rated then not rated at all, eh ASU fan?

    Six Months Ago TODAY

His feet were down, I can find the picture if you want. We will never know what could have happened on a hail mary though, i know that we would have at least had a shot at it.

D-Backs trade Lopez to the Brewers

Gillespie started this year in high rookie ball and hit 350. He's now in AAA for the first time in his career and is hitting 240, but I would think that he has a lot of potential and room for improvement.

    Diamondbacks release Tony Clark

Whitesell did come around though the last road trip he was on the team for, then he didn't get any more PT. Anyways there's only one to find out what we have in him, and now's as good a time as any to figure it out.

    Dockett sounds unhappy on Twitter

I hope he's unhappy and pissed off, did you see how he played in the playoffs with a little motivation?

    Best Starting Pitcher In MLB?

What's amazing to me is Haren's record. The man has by far the best numbers outside of the strikeout-walk ratio.

    Best Starting Pitcher In MLB?

If we're just going off of this season, I think you would have to move weaver up to at least 4, maybe 3.

Upton and Parra win player of the month

I don't know how he could get more consistent AB's, he's started every game but two since he's been up.

    2009 MLB Draft

Off of this list, I would be happy if we could get either Poythress of Borchering.

There *should* be a brawl tonight

I dont think Rauch was trying to hit Phillips. I think Phillips decided to be a whiny little bi*** and overreact about a ball 6 inches inside, then do it again after he swung at the pitch. After Roberts got hurt, every ball should have been at Phillips' head until he was on the DL. I never...

Beanie is the closest thing to AP since AP...

And I'm glad it's the most exciting part of the season with a plethora of topics to discuss.

    Seitzer Canned

The biggest problem is that the players don't know what their part is. When you're hitting in a different spot every night, the roles change and it really doesn't let them get into any kind of rhythm.

Is Upton progressing before our eyes?

It seems like he finally realized that he can just go play the game and not over-analyze things. Every interview I've seen with him he talks about how he's letting his ability take over and not pressing and thinking as much.

Eric Byrnes, King of Pop ups

Mr. Never Dove For a Ball In My Career would never do something like that. Are you crazy?

Apparently Playoff Games not televised in Columbus

96,000 for a glorified practice is unheard of. I would love for the Cards to have that kind of following.

Has Mark Reynolds turned the corner?

He's about 50-50 with that ratio now. (Which is still very high)

    Chris "Beanie" Wells Stiff Arm

He's mad at everyone who wants to stop him :D

    Chris "Beanie" Wells Stiff Arm

He had some fumble issues at the beginning of his Frosh year, but changed how he carries the ball and I can't even remember the last time he fumbled.

    Huge homestand this week

On the surface that may seem to be the case, but the Dodgers have the 3rd best record in baseball right now with San Diego only a few places behind. Over the course of the season it may turn out that the NL West is a weak division, but it's certainly not why the D-Backs aren't 8 or 9 games out...
