Suns Draft Koa Peat at #30 in 2026 NBA Draft

Both Harris and Gordon were significantly better/more legit 3P-shooters in college than Peat. Yes,having a solid looking middy and broken 3P-shot (I know that he changed it before the draft, but it is still a fact, it's broken)

Suns Draft Koa Peat at #30 in 2026 NBA Draft

This is also a way too optimistic forecast. All the above listed players are either more athletic than Pea or much better shooters (than he ever will be) or in most of the cases both. But I wish that you guys will be proven right.

    2026 Summer League

I did not see the game, but based on the box score it looks like Maluach/Fleming/Peat (in that particular order) kind a dominated the game.

Suns Draft Koa Peat at #30 in 2026 NBA Draft

I think that Peat is a skilled young F, he is more athletic than you think at first sight (although the comparisons to Shawn Marion are too optimistic) but I still have doubts about the smoothness of his transition into the NBA game.

Suns Draft Koa Peat at #30 in 2026 NBA Draft

Despite his encouraging start I highly doubt that he will. Beating one the above players in the rotation would be a very good 1st step for Peat till the trade deadline and I wouldn't bet on it.

News from around the NBA 2025-2026

Agreed. If lucky, Trent might have gotten more than the vet min. 16 mil. per year? One of the worst (if not the worst) deals of this offseason.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Yes, but their thinking process probably was that Bridges' contribution will be bigger than Allen's and O'Neal's combined.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

I don't think they will match, or at least I think they shouldn't.

    2026 off season

Other than Melton (if healthy), I could tear apart all the other candidates from the list.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Please, no. Right now my offer would be 3 years/75 mil. and I am generous. You want more? Feel free to get it elsewhere.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

I agree, but teams probably didn't bomb the Suns' front office with offers for O'Neale and Allen. As time slowly went by, I started to lose faith that the Suns can get a 1st rounder for Allen, and I'm not sure that we could get more than a bunch of mediocre 2nd rounders for both combined. And...

Suns trade for Center Mark Williams

You are not. I always liked what I saw from Williams on the court. I would have preferred S&T-ing him because of his health issues. But on this contract? Anytime.

    2026 NBA Draft Thread

Yes, and Eduardo Najera played for the Mavs and other teams.

    2026 NBA Draft Thread

Yes, based on his highlights and stats Brazile is an excellent prospect. I think that the knock on him is that he will be almost 24 years old, when the next season starts, his 1.6 APG and 1.1 TPG are not that intimidating.

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

The question is how likely is getting a prospect like Dunn in the mid-late 1st round. Not really, I would say and I like this draft class.

Flemings is a surefire top10 pick.

    Good deal.

    2026 off season

At least partially yes, but I still dream about them becoming a 3&D forward duo that creates a suffocating defensive pressure while at the same time hitting 3-pointers, getting transition baskets, rebounding and doing some occasional scroing.

    Suns 2025-2026 Season Discussion

Somehow it doesn't, that's why the Bucks would never consider that swap.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

He did talk about the former option.

The 2025-26 NBA draft prospect watch thread.

Lipsey might have a chance in the 2nd round as a very poor man's Mike Conley and Nkrumah as a ball hawk, but Martinelli is a long-shot even as a late 2nd rounder.

The 2025-26 NBA draft prospect watch thread.

I believe Trevon Brazile is an upgraded version of him in almost every aspect of the game (except rebounding).

    2026 off season

Both would be a slight overpay if this report is correct, and I love them both. Gillespie has a killer 3P, he is a mistake free/non-nonsense pseudo PG but he is a role player and always will be a target of scoring PG's. He is basically a TJ McConnell caliber of player (with a different profile)...

The 2025-26 NBA draft prospect watch thread.

I still keep dreaming about somehow getting Cameron Carr. Trevon Brazile could join him from the 2nd round in my best case scenario.
