    OT: RIP Roman Gabriel

    He is responsible for one of my worst football memories. He hooked up with Harold Carmichael and Don Zimmerman to rally the Eagles past the Cards 27-24, the latter on the last play of the game, IIRC. That loss stuck with me until 2001 when we beat the Eagles in 2001 on a similar fashion.

    Clyde 'The Slide' Duncan and Randal 'Thrill' Hill, two huge busts at WR that cost us 1st round picks one way or the other. We traded our first round pick to the Dolphins for Hill and the Dolphins used that pick for Troy Vincent.

    Yeah the other loss was at San Fran with Leinhart starting on a Monday night season opener. The Niners coughed the ball up in our end zone and rather than just fall on it Eric Green kicked it out of bounds earning a penalty that gave San Fran the ball back to win the game.

    I recall this game. In OT Sean Morey seemingly going into the end zone on a big play, gets tackled, followed by a Rackers missed FG and then Warner getting stripped of the ball in our end zone.
