    They did draft quite a few very good NBA players and traded away most of them to acquire the current starting 5. Quickley, Barrett, Toppin, Grimes. Most crucially, they got Brunson from FA and on a bargain price.

    I guess it's all about price. Suns want to avoid luxury tax this year. MW for 13m, CG for 9m, JG for 8m this year, and try to save 10m or so by trading away GA and RO, this'd be doable.

    Oso has great court vision as a facilitator on offense and can spot clear paths to basket while filling out that role. He dunked a lot that way, but against recovering centers, he needs to get rid of his ugly forward-leaning push shots and develop a regular jump shots and/or flowter in the paint...

    Robinson is a much better post defender and paint protector. Oso is a good facilitator and thus more important on offense than Robinson is for Knicks. So, Oso needs a jumper more than R does, to be effective for the team.

    We don't have backcourt players like OKC's Mitchell and McCain, Dosumu, Shannon who can create their own shots on a rookie contracts. It takes time for our Dunn and Fleming to even become decent 3Ds.

    Sounds intriguing, given his contract terms. I wonder whether Booker+RO for Zion+Murray would fit both teams even better, with minor compensations like swapping 2nd picks this year.

    I meant Morant + picks etc for Book. As most agree, Book as team's #1 player on the lengthy max contract isn't expected to lead anything in playoffs.

    If Brooks could help rein in Morant, I'd consider trading Book for him and picks etc for him, hoping the young core of Green and Ja could mature soon, while getting rid of Book huge contract.

    They have it, or at least had it a couple years back. I recall Okogie got 1 or 2 flopping call against him, while the whole OKC team particularly Dort were and are much worse at it, without being called.

    I still believe the KD trade idea was not bad, but the deal was bad, and then the follow up deals with BB, Ayton. They could've at least insisted on trading Crowder for Hachimura for our own use and replace him with Saric for salary matching. Beal was the deal that killed any chance of success...

    Brown pushed Maxey falling into Embiid's knee causing it bent in an awkward angle, and got away with it for 2 pts. I guess Philly better rest Embiid for at least the next 2 games.

    Shooting guards shoot in the low 30%s is unacceptable. Green is still young and can mature with time, he's been out for most of season. But Book has no excuse there.

    SGA came back about 3min before halftime and scored 7 straight pts or so right away, with authority, and Suns D was out of sinc after that.
