    2026 Summer League

Peat is the deal. His decision making is like a vet, with great court visions.

    2026 Summer League

Our game plan should be feeding Peat much more. ManMan's 3s are nice. His other moves are just not that smooth yet. Fleming as a D force has his place on the roster.

    2026 Summer League

Peat is the real deal! Maluach can't touch the ball, careless pass TOs and out of control dribbles. Still too raw on both D and O. Fleming's D is solid, but his 3pt form is a bit odd and air balled almost all his attempt. Brea has no chance to make the regular roster as he cannot make any of...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

RO would be a great fit for Wolves.

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

So, maybe it's better to trade Brooks for Giddey instead of Green

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

14-17m per year seems now the new going rate for top PFs around 30 years of age

    Happy for him!

    The Grayson Allen thread

Allen was given the big contract without competing interest elsewhere. He'd be getting an ASimon to Sexton type of deal, this offseason.

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

But Booker sucked in the playoffs, facing much tougher double-team defense than regular season, while Green played better.

    Suns sign Pat Spencer

Given the deflation trend, Green is about worth 23-25m per, between Powell and Giddey. Good thing is, Brooks and Bridges extensions won't go to crazy numbers too.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

The trend in today's NBA is apparent now -- salary reduction across board. Eason got 16m per instead the 20m per he rejected last season. Look at Powell, Wiggins, Collins, THarris, ASimons, etc. All the old contracts look like overpay now, from AGordon, Braun to our GAllen and even RO. The...

    2026 off season

Agree. Green isn't going anywhere, definitely not replaced by the Kennard and Spencers.

    Suns sign Pat Spencer

Wow! I thought Spencer was as good as Gillespie when we played GSW. I guess he'd take Bouyea's spot sooner or later.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Collins for 17m/y, Wiggins extended for about the same, Powell for 22m/y etc. It looks like NBA teams realize they cannot give Braun type deals for non stars anymore. I guess Bridges and Brooks would get extension in similar range.

    Suns sign Luke Kennard.

Kennard is a good secondary ball handler, after faking a 3pt shot and driving. He is reasonable at D. We have Booker, Green, CG and MB as the primary ball handlers and won't miss GA a bit.

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

3pt shooting % reflects the pressure the shooter got from defense. Booker and Green's are much more under pressure than Colin's.

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

Exactly. KAT transformed the 3rd (?) year after trade to NY. The first couple years there Suns fans valued him even worse than Green, due to former's max contract. Green has a quick first step as fast as Maxie or Mitchell, and strong enough to shoot through contacts. What separates him from them...

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

Shot creation ability is crucial for winning in the playoffs. OKC, Spurs, Knicks all have plenty of it. Suns were poor at it. Booker regressed over the year, against improving defense league wise. Brooks surprised a bit with his turnaround jumper. We added Bridges who can create some at PF, and...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Shamet had a quick release and good shooting form. There's reason behind that contract JJ gave him. But he failed under pressure here. Like Goodwin, with time he regained confidence and earned their new contracts after a min deal.

    Suns Roster Post Draft 6-25-2026

I share the high hope for both. CG was worn down late last season and his 3pt shooting dropped off quite a bit. He needs to improve his handle in the traffic a bit more to the McConnel level.

    Suns Roster Post Draft 6-25-2026

Clarkson for the min, Kennard, Sexton, Shamet for the TPM. Don't like Huerter.

    Suns Roster Post Draft 6-25-2026

Highsmith is PF/SF. Brea won't get a regular NBA contract anytime soon. The rest are also 6'3 and shorter other than Book.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

I thought Michigan State suited the 'alignment' thing? MB should be willing to play the way his co-alumni Ott wanted, and with best effort to get a new deal next year.

    Suns Roster Post Draft 6-25-2026

Suns are now thin on guards, partiularly SG. I'd like them targeting K. Porter, G. Trent, and A. Simons if cheap.
  25. C

    2026 off season

The Bridges trade gave Suns a lot of flexibility going forward. 1. MB is an upper level PF, slightly better than Hachimura and Harris as he attacks the rim better. So, he def. fills a need, at least for one year for Fleming and Koa to take lesson from. Depending on what Hachimura and Harris get...
