    To be fair Simpson was projected as a first rounder before the combine by most, his combine just solidified that. I wouldn’t take him at 3 but it seems lots of scouts think he has NFL starting talent.

    I always felt the Cardinals spent money but spent it foolishly and on the wrong players more often than not. I saw a graphic recently and the Cardinals I think were number 7 in off-season spending last year, I think of the 10 highest spenders only 3 made the playoffs.

    Yeah, that stunt concerns me more than the lack of quality play he demonstrated, I am 100% serious, if you are a leader you don't tap out on third down because you are fatigued. Maybe its happened with a QB before but I honestly can't think of another example.

    I would say there was just enough evidence there as the other 2, difference is it was not investigated properly and covered up by people with ties to FSU and that is beyond doubt.

    Those numbers are accurate if he is cut but from what OTC shows if he is traded he saves $13million with $6 million in dead cap. Even for a mid-late round pick that seems pretty appealing in terms of saving.
