    Deeeep thoughts,.......with Oaken1

We can trade down and still take Oliver if the mocks are to be believed. Most everything has him going in the 7-12 range now. No mock I've seen has him going top 2 and taking him #1 would be a reach IMO, but we will see if that changes at the combine.

Draft Kyler Murray #1, trade Josh Rosen?

Because of his height and the fact that he was considered a legit baseball prospect, Wilson went in the 3rd round. People are talking about taking Murray #1 in the draft. That's craziness. Also, Wilson had 1500 pass attempts in college. Murray had 500. Murray is way riskier than Wilson IMO.

Oklahoman article on Kingsbury to Cardinals

NFL coaches who fail and get 2nd chances are getting the same pass on their record. Adam Gase's 0.469 win% is roughly equal to KKs 0.466 win %. Why does Gase get a free pass?

It's official. Cards and K K are one Kliff Kingsbury Cards

The failure rate for NFL Head Coaches is pretty high, that's why there are 6-8 new HC hirings every offseason. Everyone says college coaches can't get it done, but the same is true of successful coordinators and retreads who already failed as NFL HC in the past. This move is the ultimate "no...

OT QB Dwayne Haskins will enter draft

The next question is how many teams are desperate for a QB and how many vet QBs are on the market. Right now I see only Flacco and Foles as starter candidates on the market. NYG/Jax are definitely going for a QB this year. TB, Mia, Cin, Was, and Den are all possibilities as well. If we are...

Kliff Kingsbury may walk away from USC

There are numerous examples of NFL only coaches who have failed spectacularly too. There are also plenty of college coaches that succeeded in the NFL: Tom Coughlin, Barry Switzer, Jim Harbaugh, Dick Vermeil, Pete Carroll, Jimmy Johnson and Bill Walsh all coached NFL teams to the Superbowl after...

    John Harbaugh

I don't see him coming here but if some other team trades for him that's 1 less team that competing to hire whoever we're targetting.

    The Buzz

Could say the same about most of the QBs in next years class as well. Tua had probably the best OL in the country and yet he still got banged up multiple times and it took him going out of the game and his backup coming in for them to win the conference championship game yet everyone is...

    The Buzz

Who would do #1 for #7+Jalen Ramsey? I think I would. 7 is still high enough to get one of the better players in this draft and we'd have the best CB duo in the NFL and a guy to replace PP21 in a few years. I'm not certain the Jags would do it but Ramsey does have a few minor discipline concerns...

    Cardinal Press Conference

So the players wanted Wilks back? Well, maybe they should have played hard all 16 games instead of getting blown out 6 times and ranking 32nd in nearly every category in the NFL then.

    Overthrosen

It's simple really. If Rosen doesn't progress next year, we're going to be picking high in a class that is going to have a ton of good QB prospects. If he does progress, we're going to be competitive and this whole discussion will look dumb. Either way, he's our guy in 2019.

    Rosen is Trash

Rather than overreact to a rookie season by a QB lets see how his numbers compare to some other rookie seasons Josh Rosen: 3-7 record, 55.4% completion, 3.2% TD% 3.4% INT%, 6.1 YPA, 11 YPC, 68.3 RAT * Best WR is 35 year old Fitzgerald, Entire starting OL is injured, First time head coach in...

I hated the Rosen pick. If this continues, I’m happy to eat crow.

Imagine how much better Rosen would look with a good HC, OC, OL and WRs.

    OT: Earl Thomas

Signing the contract doesn't stop teams from not honoring it when they feel the player's play has declined. Why are players expected to honor their contracts when teams aren't?
