    Interesting how fast Suns fans have warmed up to the idea of having Grayson Allen once this trade was finalized. I am not sure ANYONE wanted him a month ago. Not criticizing really. It is just interesting.

    I really don't think so. I think Ainge would have taken Jackson had he shown up. Ryan was a fool of his own making. Ainge just lucked out.

    I am pretty sure there was no more to get out of Ayton. It was keep him or this. They have been trying to trade him for a long time. If there was a better deal to be had they would have done it by now.

    I watched this. Most of this was plays of aggressiveness. Throwing his butt back into a player and the trip with his foot going back behind him were the worst of the bunch. The rest of it was no big deal. Aggressive plays, or fairly small movements. He has a reputation that will hurt him...

    He was immature and did dirty stuff out of frustration. Allen is not so much calculated dirty like Pat Bev. Grayson does not control his temper. Haven't seen much about his problems recently, although I have not been following really either.

    I don't see anything here that includes Ayton that makes sense to me. Unless there are significant picks in the compensation. But with the apron thing, do picks you trade for go to the end of the first round as well?

    Suns have lots of players and salary. Trade for him, take the picks, then cut him. Add a few picks to the bare cupboard over the next few years. Probably easier said than done since most of those Suns salaries are either players they want to keep or new signees.
