    My 85 year old father-in-law who is a franchise-long suffering Kings fan was at the game hoping to witness what for years has seemed unthinkable. I'm sure he's disappointed, but oh well. Devils deserved this one. Like the Yotes, NJ has been playing too well to get swept. Let's see what happens...

    I wouldn't put it in the bag just yet. NJ is a tough team and the first two games could have went either way, though the Kings do seem to have a knack of making good things happen when they need it. Those two goals in game 2 were incredible. Kings need to win tonight to really take control.

    You have to ignore the regular season and make a lot of assumptions to make that case. Lakers finished 1 game better than the Clippers. Dallas and Utah both barely made the playoffs. But we shall see. Should be an entertaining series.

    I don't get the feeling OKC is a machine right now, they seemed a bit up and down against the Lakers. They'll have to be more consistent to beat the Spurs in a series because the San Antonio machine doesn't appear to have an "off" button.

    Yep. But a tip of the hat to the Yotes who put up a hell of an effort the last 2 games with their backs against the wall. They certainly put themselves in position to have a shot at winning Game 5, but the Kings pretty much controlled the OT.

    I see it the opposite. I think the Lakers overachieved a bit in the regular season. Their overall talent is above average but not much more than that. The Clippers and Grizzlies would likely beat them in a 7 game series.
