    The NFL is a QB league and there are a lot of QB openings. This draft didn't have really any elite defenders. My buddy is a Rams fan and he is convinced that Verse is elite. I laughed at him.

    There was no elite guy. I liked Benson the most by a wide margin. The Texas kid was probably a little better but he had an ACL tear so he might not be right for another year, and I ain't waiting for that. I think Benson is your typical third round back.

    The top was good...the depth was meh. Monti said from round 5 onwards, those guys are UDFAs that you can lock in.

    It was the one on ones. Rice reportedly has no nuance to his routes. Well below average for a college player and he just relies on his good, not great physical abilities to get open. He got better as the week went on, but was awful in the beginning.

    I think the Cardinals expect Adams to be a starter soon and for Reiman to play a lot as a blocker and occasional pass catcher.

    I'd imagine he knows since he worked as a scout for the Ravens and a few other teams. Id rather the Cardinals get the guys they want than to worry about what Mel Kipers thinks is a value.

    Very much agree. What's crazy is that some of these players rankings start with HS classes coming in. Dude who is a five star stays on the radar whether they are good or not. And some of this bias as extends to what school they went to. Look at Deionte Thompson who the Cardinals drafted awhile...

    It's all football soap opera. The fact that he had a second round grade from some and just went in the fifth, demonstrates how silly all of this is. I'm just happy to see the Cardinals add some talent.

    Honestly, I think the Cardinals plan to use a lot of 12 and like the WR depth they have. If you're running a lot of 12 and 13, then TE depth matters more and you don't need to keep 6 WRs.
