    Strength of the schedule at this time of the year is meaningless just something to talk about. Teams change so much in the off season that they are not the same that finished the past season.

    I'm retried and have time to listen to some of the sports talks shows here in Phoenix. I got tired of Wolfley and won't listen to his show anymore. It's just not entertaining. His rants are the same and boring. They need to get rid of him.

    One player you forgot to mention when discussing our offense line is TE Tip Reiman who should be back after suffering a season ending ankle injury last October. He is an outstanding blocking TE who can lineup next to RT and be a major contributor.

    Defending the Defense

    I just wonder what the role of Defense Ass't coach Teryl Austin will be. He has far more experience coaching a defense than Rallis. Being the DC for the Steelers the past 4 years certainly looks good on his resume. Is he a mentor to Rallis or a DC in waiting to take over if Rallis fails.:shrug:

    Haha didn't know that. But he did play in the NFL for 17 years many as a starter and was All Pro two times. Considered a very cerebral qb and should be a excellent coach to develop qbs like Beck. I really think hiring Schaub was a good move.

    I disagree with you on your comment: "With Brissett, I had absolutely zero hope." Being a season ticket holder I was at every game last year and it was so depressing watching the offense under Kyler. Once Brissett started the entire offense picked up and the passing game was fun to watch...

    Ty Simpson declares for the 2026 NFL draft

    I like Simpson and was hoping the Cards could get him but not with the #3 pick. I'm not sure if he really is any better than Nussmeier, Allar or Beck and hope the Cards take one of them to develop. Bottom line for me its no big deal that the Cards didn't get Simpson.
