    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

Green will never be a distributor, never ever ever. I doubt anyone can find a player with his stats who became anything more than a scorer... and currently he is an extremely inefficient scorer. If we have stretches where we leave him in charge of the offense we are going to have stretches of...

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

We're trying to build a team about rim running and spot up shooting. It's hard to imagine a better player than CP3 to help these guys evolve. If he wants to come here for the minimum we're be flat out idiotic to reject it. Zero risk, massive reward scenario.

Tales of seasons past, old school and new school bball talk.

Kobe tanked multiple Laker seasons through flat out stat padding. His "obsession to win" is grossly overrated IMO, he also drove off teammates who threatened his spot light, while Booker has perpetually sought ways to make the Suns better. Kobe was, in most ways, a superior player, but if...

The 2025 NBA Off Season (includes free agency)

There is rule breaking and there is taking advantage of lax rules. Jerry broke no rules, they had to rewrite the rules because he was clever. Minnesota tried the same thing a few years later with Joe Smith, a mediocre player, at best, and they got brutally punished for breaking a brand new and...

Suns trade Kevin Durant to the Rockets

Butler didn’t want to go to golden state, Lillard had no interest in the Bucks. We’re just push overs.

Suns trade Kevin Durant to the Rockets

He’s always been a cream puff, it is why he was regarded as a different level of dirty. He has never been a hard nosed dog, he was just a spot up shooter who was not at all physical outside of an occasional wild cheap shot. He’s just removed the cheap shots.

Suns trade Kevin Durant to the Rockets

Well, yeah, when you obliterate your franchise for a player you’re probably going to be pretty lousy when they’re hurt. I would not be at all surprised if his absence at the end of the season was by choice.

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

How did Ayton get that kind of money… how do the lakers even have that much cap space….?

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

The numbers don’t lie. He might fail the eye test but he was worlds better than Richards.

I really hope Ayton goes to LA. He'd tank that team. Ayton who cannot take responsibility, and Luka, who cannot take responsibility, would despise each other within 2 months. But, I think the word might be out on Ayton... all the skill in the world but he's a immature and has no passion. He's...

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

His turn over ratio is actually rather good, the problem is he plays extremely slow as a point guard, the offense bogs down, he takes too long to bring the ball up court and then he takes too long to engage whatever set they're going to run. It works well for a while but when the game tightens...

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

He was objectively better. And I don't think Plumlee is great, he was just the best of an extremely bad group of centers that played for us.

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

Yeah, his first few years he was horrendous but he's turned things around. I would be shocked if the Bulls would consider including him in a Beal trade.

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

Per 100 possessions we were TEN points better when Plumlee was on the court vs Richards, we actually outscored teams when he was in the game over the course of the season, while we Richards we got pulverized. In terms of on/off splits, Richards was the worst player on the entire roster last...

His contract is an albatross, Nets are tanking. They pulled off what we should have done, getting all their picks back from Houston, allowing them to take the plunge.

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

The entire team got lost a lot on defense last year but he was particularly bad and it seems ingrained in him. Dudes like Tyus Jones are terrible defenders because he can't keep anyone in front of him, where Richards is just lost.

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

Knock yourself out. Booker is not a great leader, he is a follower, I have said we should trade him. I told you 2 1/2 years ago how it would play out, it played out like I said so you've chosen to have an irrational hatred of that team as some sort of coping mechanism.

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

He was waaay worse, especially worse than Plumlee. He doesn't defend, he doesn't set screens, we were far worse when he was on the court. Plumlee was our most effective big by a huge margin.

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

I generally don't think Richards has any value, I am actually kind of surprised we picked up his option at all. He was our least effective center last year, that includes Nurkic, Plumlee and Oso.

The 2025 NBA Off Season (includes free agency)

Collin Sexton is awful, he is a sea anchor wherever he plays, dragging his team into the abyss. The only year in his career that his team wasn't in the cellar was his last year in Cleveland... because he missed almost the entire year. That trade was more of an indicator that Sexton had zero...

Suns Off Season Changes for 2025-26

We are not getting better than a 2nd round pick for Richards, and if they can do it without taking back any salary, it would be for the better. With the apron tax his 5 million dollar contract hits us for like 30 million.
