    The Grayson Allen thread

Surprisingly he was healthier that season than he was last year. 64 to 51 games. Both lower than you want from a bench player. Availability wasnt his strong suit and i was ready to move on all last season. No hard feelings. Maybe if he opts out we can sign him on the cheap next season if he can...

    Here's a fun Ayton quote.... https://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2018/6/7/17435332/sense-of-closure-surrounds-deandre-aytons-predraft-workout-with-phoenix-suns-2018-nba-draft

I don't forget the negatives they bring and with Ayton there's enough to cover a mattress ;)

    Suns Roster Post Draft 6-25-2026

Man Man was 7'2" in most scouting reports last year. Maybe he's grown a little without shoes or something but I don't think he added an inch.

    Suns Roster Post Draft 6-25-2026

Brea played 84 minutes last year. He didn't earn more playing time in any of those. He looked shaky in the G-League also. He was a 2nd round pick and a long shot to make the main squad, let alone the rotation. Gifting him minutes helps no one.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

He proved who he was here. Sitting out the elimination game vs Denver in his last run here showed he was irredeemable. I wouldn't take him back on the minimum because he can't be trusted to suit up, let alone play hard.

One kid is in college and the other in LA, I don't think it plays too big of a role.

    Jalen Green 'Preciation Thread

One of the worst things we could do is let his deal expire. We're over the cap regardless so it doesn't create options to let him walk for no return. It's extend or trade, I'd lean towards trade at this point but that's only guessing his value isn't in the toilet

    2026 off season

Spencer is a Two-Way player and Kennard can easily play SF off the bench. He isn't a starter or a Sixth man. I think you're reading way too much into things,

Suns Draft Koa Peat at #30 in 2026 NBA Draft

Domt forget the training center has apartments built in as well and is in the Biltmore area. Most players are there all the time and it beats downtown living.

It's dumb but it's SL so ultimately it doesn't matter much. No one is watching SL to see how guys FT shooting is.

    Suns sign Luke Kennard.

He was a poor defender. I won't knock his shooting or his ball handling but I still believe he was overrated. We'll see this year how much of his production Kennard replaces. I'd be surprised if Luke doesn't give us 75% or more of what Grayson did.
  15. Hoop Head

    Suns sign Luke Kennard.

Which Grayson? He seemed to drive less and less the more he got banged up. He was a decent and willing passer but I think that was often overrated also, I've seen some refer to him as a backup PG. Kennard is more one dimensional than Grayson but I don't think we'll see a big drop in production.
  16. Hoop Head

    Suns sign Luke Kennard.

I'm curious to see how he does because I believe he'll replace what Grayson did 90% of the time. I grew tired of those overselling Grayson because he led the league in 3pt % for a season when Kennard has done that multiple times.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Maybe he's earned the second chance to be a free man but I choose not to root for men who need to ask for that form of forgiveness. Everyone else has the right to forgive him or not, I won't hold it against them, I am incapable of squaring his crimes and looking past them. I wouldn't mind if...

Free agency hasn't started yet. It starts tomorrow at 3pm PST. Right now only players can agree to resign with their own teams.

Per Shams, Portland is trading for Ja for Jerami Grant and Kris Murray. Kind of odd since they have Dame and Jrue, plus Scoot.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

I agree sometimes there are lenient sentences but as to the rest I don't think Bridges is being held to any crazy standard. I wouldn't befriend anyone who beat their spouse and I definitely won't support an athlete who does. Don't hit your baby's mom isn't a high standard. I hope he's changed...

There were multiple incidents. The first involved her. I believe the charge that was dropped was from a second altercation where he allegedly beat the kid.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Of course i don't know that for sure but given size discrepancy and how badly injured she was, I have a hard time believing a public defender would have gotten a similar perp equal or less time. It was felony battery charges, after all. We're not talking more run of the mill domestic violence...

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Good behavior? Not beating up your kids or their mom is a bit more than that. If that can't be expected of a man then I don't know. I get you're looking for a bright side of a way to justify things but some things are hard to overlook. If he wasn't a millionaire athlete then he'd like be in...
