    That might have something to do with the other bench players shooting a combined 12 of 34. Multiple bench players underperformed in that game and contributed to that +/-.

    Sure, but it was largely them against their starters. Not to mention all of the guys that were playing for us that won't be on our roster. Losing that game isn't really a big deal.

    Meh. Starters played less than half of the game and were a +11 in their 22 minutes on the floor. The bench should have done better, but they were playing a team that has much more continuity than our bench does.

    All I can go off of is recent history and when they had iron clad evidence against Sterling he was cast out very quickly. Testimonies by even many people is not anywhere near as iron clad as actual audio of what was said.

    Need to keep afloat for these first 6 or so games. The offense should look much better with the whole receiving core back on the field. Hopefully the Hop suspension at least means he is healthy all the way through the end of the season.

    Kind of have to agree for the most part. Now he may not be studying film as much as he maybe should, but he is obviously doing it to some extent. There is no way he would have even the amount of success that he has had without a decent amount of film study.

    Can I just point out that it’s not like Kyler hasn’t been doing film study. They just don’t think he has been doing enough of it on his own time and this is them incentivizing him to do just that. Obviously there is a decent amount of film study being done with the team at the facility.

    For sure. It’s also worth noting that there wasn’t even a 3 point line painted on the court when he played high school and college ball. He was a halfway decent three point shooter in an era that didn’t even care about taking 3s. He almost certainly would have been good if he wanted to be.

    He is better than he gets credit for (his 3 point shot is at least on par with LeBron for instance), but the years he shot a really high percentage is when they shortened the three point line to 21 feet. He never shot that high of a percentage with a 24 foot 3 point line.

    Generally speaking players getting their first extension will almost always take the biggest offer on the table. After that it isn't unheard to see guys taking less than the max in order to help keep a team together or to make their team stronger. Ayton really isn't in that position at the moment.

    Would have loved to have seen prime AI with another great offensive player. He did most of what he did while facing a lot of help defense and having to completely carry the load offensively. Westbrook only had to do that for a couple years in his career.
