    OT(Sorta): Hot Dogging

Cam Newton does the same thing. Every time he runs for a first down he goes a few more yards down field and does his little Superman act. As the quarterback he needs to be getting back to the huddle, not burning time off the play clock posing.

Can we continue to win giving up 500 yards of Offense?

Giving up no sacks is deceptive. Palmer took a couple hard hits early in the game which adversely affected his play. There were numerous occasions where he bailed out of the pocket with no pressure coming. Couple that with getting rid of the ball quick led to him completing below 50% of his...

All those 3 and outs on offense took the legs out of the defense.

The personnel liabilities are catching up to the Cardinals offense: nobody to spell Ellington, useless tight ends, and crappy guards.

When your quarterback is under 50% completion ratio, you have some big problems on offense.

Why was Larry Fitzgerald blocking a rush backer in pass protection? Hint: the answer is Rob Housler sucks.

NFL.COM Article: Fitzgerald - Fewer Targets a "Champagne Problem"

The Patriots expressed interest in Fitzgerald prior to the season. The rumors started up again after the Patriots were waxed by the Chiefs. But after the Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco) experience there is concern that a veteran receiver won't be able to learn the system quickly and or develop...

    89 in a row!

IIRC, the team did pick up some tickets to have the blackout lifted as the Whisenhunt era staggered to a close.

Coaches' Tape Review: Rob Housler Needs Someone To Block

That play also highlights why the Cardinals have had so much success bouncing plays to the outside this season. The Cardinals wide outs do an excellent job in the running game. And it all starts with Larry Fitzgerald leading by example.

If the Rams Cut Michael Sam, Should the Cards Pick Him Up?

The Cowboys are in desperate need of a pass rusher. Sam never made it off their practice squad.

    Palmer, Cardinals talking extension

^3/4 of the starting quarterbacks in the league have never suited up for another team. The Cardinals have passed on three guys who didn't bring prototypical size to the table (Geno Smith, Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater).

    Palmer, Cardinals talking extension

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2274314 Palmer has gotten top tier money in the past. He wouldn't accept a pay cut in Oakland. But did take one to get out of Oakland. If the Palmer camp expects the Cardinals to make good on that pay cut, Palmer will be asking for top tier money.

Cardinals at Raiders 10-19-14, Official Anti-Trap Game Thread

Obviously there was a focus on running the ball for this game. T.O.P. edge 36:57 to 23:03. It was nice to keep the banged up defense off the field. If comes down to the choice of running the ball or protecting the passer, I'm choosing to keep the quarterback upright.

    Those tricky Rams

The fake punt was a gutsy call, but if the Rams punted the Seahawks were going to win that game.

    Palmer, Cardinals talking extension

The Cardinals signed him to a three year deal for cap reasons, but the contract automatically voids after two years.

    Palmer, Cardinals talking extension

It is his age, he's old for the NFL. Early to mid thirties is when their bodies tell players their done. The nerve issue is a harbinger of things to come.

OT Seattle trades Harvin to Jets

For a guy who can line up at wide receiver and running back, it seems strange that the Seahawks couldn't do a better job integrating him into the game plan. There were pre-draft concerns about Harvin's posse. Now he has worn out his welcome with two teams.

    Palmer, Cardinals talking extension

Palmer doesn't have much left, but the Cardinals don't have a better option. Arains has labeled spread quarterbacks as "gimmick" quarterbacks. Unfortunately, very few college teams are running the pro set. If a coaching staff isn't flexible, it takes several years to transform a "gimmick"...

    NFL players don't wear cups..

A female will tell you that giving birth is the most painful thing a person can experience. But females will give birth multiple times. If a guy takes a shot to the groin, he never, ever wants to experience that again.

    How are we winning games?

The stats are bad because the offensive and defensive lines are bad. The Cardinals are winning because of the "accountability" culture of Bruce Arains and taking care of the football.

    Niners @ Rams

#2 overall draft pick Greg Robinson had his first start at guard. The Niner's exploited the rookie in the second half. Robinson was fine when he locked up with a defender lined up directly opposite him. But any movement in the d-line baffled him. Time and time again the Niner's got pressure...
