    Shoot me...but bring in Tebow

The Broncos never quit on Tebow the way the Cardinals have quit on Stanton.

I'm plenty ticked at one thing...

On the play Palmer was hurt, the defense rushed five men. The Cardinals were in an empty backfield. The Cardinals slanted the protection to the right, but Massie blocked down which resulted in a double team and left the free rusher that caused Palmer to hop forward. Massie blowing his...

Time to see what Logan can do

Simplifying the offense won't magically grant Stanton the power to read defenses or throw accurately. Physically he just isn't up to the task of throwing the football at an NFL level.

^ If the Cardinals didn't need a right tackle, we'd be talking about how Carson Palmer performed today.

I'm plenty ticked at one thing...

Massie's inability to handle speed rushers off the edge has elevated finding a right tackle to the number one off season priority. Is there another team in the league that has to designate a guard and a running back to handle an edge rusher because their right tackle can't block them?

Gameday thread Cardinals at Falcons 11-30-14

So much for getting healthy against the worst defense in the league.

I'm no longer of the opinion that Stanton would improve with experience. If anything he is getting worse every game.

    OT: Nick Marshall, Auburn

Georgia got it right. They moved him to cornerback. Yesterday's game was an aberration. He's best running the football, but is not big enough to transition to running back full time. A receiver / running back hybrid in the manner of Percy Harvin could be his future. Jeremy Johnson the...

    Cooper sighting!

^It isn't "just one bad game" for Massie. The tell all stat for Massie is two injured quarterbacks.

Week 12 Snap counts, usage trends, and roster thoughts

It was Fells. On a different note, that Josh Mauro can walk off another teams practice squad and have an impact highlights that the cupboard is pretty empty in the desert.

    Cooper sighting!

^Vastly improved left tackle has overshadowed getting worse at left guard and right tackle.

    Bobby Massie

The wide nine technique ate Massie up. The coaching staff has to shoulder part of the blame. They kept covering Massie up with a tight end who never chipped the edge rusher.

Would you trade for Eli Manning?

Defense, defense, defense - there is no indication that the Cardinals can win a high scoring shoot out.

Would you trade for Eli Manning?

Palmer has led the league in interceptions and threw a career high 22 last year (Eli had a league high 27). After a year in the system, Palmer saw a drastic reduction in picks this year. There is no reason not to believe that Eli Manning couldn't see similar results. The Cardinals can't...

    2014-15 MLB Hot Stove League

Heyward hasn't lived up to the billing, but he is a young Golden Glove fielder whose bat may benefit by getting out of Atlanta. St. Louis is going to have to pay him and they gave up a young talented pitcher to get him. But the Cardinals seem to be able to produce quality pitching at will...
