    Free Agency 2020

Christian Wood blew up after Drummond was traded. He looks like an ideal fit offensively but defense needs work. Interesting to see what offers he gets after his late year performance. Ibaka could be expensive and is getting old. Harrell could be a nice fit if spacing with Ayton could be...

Game #16 Arizona Diamondbacks @ San Diego Padres. 08/09/20

I don't see why he isn't everyday DH for now. I'm okay with him taking AB's away from Lamb & Jay.

Damn, same thing that took John McCain.

    National League designated hitter

I like it. With the exception of a handful of pitchers, them batting is a joke. Plus it allows to teams to keep an impact bat in lineup even if there is no where for him to play or you don't want him fielding. Helps offense for sure and boy have we needed offense.

    Who will start at RT?

What if they are in contract year meaning they are a FA at end of year? Does that mean they still have one year left on deal next year?

    Who will start at RT?

If Murray can't lock it down hopefully Jones can win it to give him experience. Last resort look at trade market. Riley Reiff could be an option.

Game #11- Houston Astros @ Arizona Diamondbacks. 08/04/20

The way this team is playing it should have opted out of the season. Hitting and SP (with exception of Kelly) have been equally awful so far this year.

St. Cardinals went to a casino, and thus you have another outbreak.

Between NBA snitch line, Lou Williams detour to Magic City for chicken wings (yeah right), Marlins clubbing & Cardinals casino night its apparent some players just don't give a damn about potential risk of cancelling season with their foolishness.

What is going on with John Chayka?

So two sides to every story but according to 12 News Chayka was given permission by Coyotes to pursue an opportunity outside of NHL but turns out it was an offer from another NHL club. When team found out they reneged their blessing of course due to being misled, allegedly. If offer was from...

    Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich (Netflix)

You know that in some states in the US the age of consent is under the age of 18, sounds like you don't. ff you are living on your own at 17 then you should be considered an adult if you work and pay taxes, so I am defending pedophiles to the contrary of your opinion. None of those 17 year old...

    Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich (Netflix)

Some of these girls were 17 (I believe the girl with the younger sister was 17 at the time) so they are right on the cusp of adulthood. Like I said, I understand the 12 - 14 year old victims because adults were involved in the trafficking but a 17 year old should know they are going down the...

    Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich (Netflix)

Alex Acosta is a real piece of crap. I'm sure he had a puppet master but to settle for an 18 month sentence where Epstein spent a few hours a day in prison and had a 6 day work release schedule and was released after 12 months was a complete slap in the face of the justice system. While on house...

8 test positive for COVID-19 in Phillies camp

If I was Cara Christ I would not have attended the re-opening announcement briefing. Her being there tied her to Ducey's decision to re-open prematurely. I'm sure she had her job to worry about had she declined to be there but look at Dr Fauci publicly denouncing the re-opening of the country so...

8 test positive for COVID-19 in Phillies camp

    Official UFC/MMA Thread

A lot of the big names are going to walk away with UFC's stance on not paying them more that the contract they signed. It's the same thing with the WWF back in the day, Vince McMahon told guys how much he was going to pay them and not a penny more, no negotiations. I wonder how Dana's bosses...

8 test positive for COVID-19 in Phillies camp

This should have been main concern in play negotiations not money. There ain't going to be a season if the players contract the virus and have to be quarantined. I think the NBA is going to have to rethink the decision to resume the season as players are starting to voice their concerns over...

****Rumor July 1st is the target date*****

You would think the important issue is player safety during pandemic but shows to hell with health and safety when money is at stake. Luckily football isn’t in this scenario yet.

They clearly have an advantage with the most cap space available. I doubt there is a team that will shed salary to sign Clowney for the money he is looking for at this point in the offseason. He's going to have to take a one year deal from a team he wants to play for and hope he doesn't get hurt...

Maurkice Pouncey: 1000% there will be a season.

I could see no TC and limited preseason (2 games in Aug) and normal Sept start date. The way people are disregarding social distancing guidelines now, I feel they’ll be non existent in three months anyway.

    MLB Draft Thread

Great start for Hazen. Jarvis was having a hell of a season before it got shutdown. Cecconi was slated to go in Round 1 so mini steal at #33. Will be interesting to see if ARZ continues its run on arms, Cole Wilcox is still available but don't think he makes it to #90.

    ESPN+ mock draft 2.0

Here is my ARZ mock: #18 - Cole Wilcox - College arm who had a great 4 game season (3-0, 1.57, 32K 2BB). Big kid. #33 - Gage Workman - Local kid. Very versatile who could play SS or 3B. Plus hitter & defender. #90 - Trei Cruz - Family bloodlines (Jose Cruz Jr's kid). Another SS for farm system...

He turned down more money from CLE and turned down less money from SEA. Can’t have your cake and eat it too. No playoff team has $20M in cap space so he either takes the money from a bad team or takes less from a playoff contender. Personally I don’t think he is worth more than $15M a year.

Judge says Zion Williamson must answer questions under oath about improper benefits at Duke

Kellerman on First Take said Duke should just get a head of it and claim they're in violation but blow the lid off the thing and say its happening everywhere because its the NCAA's fault for their unfair system. Sure Max, you'd have a better chance of keeping Stephen A Smith's annoying outbursts...
