    why should Robinson be better? Williams suffered a torn achilles past the midway point of the season and has been injury prone his entire pro and college career. Not sure why you'd expect different this year. and beyond all that, they literally added nothing to the D this off-season.

    gotcha - that doesn't help nearly as much. Cleveland might be shambles by then, but Minnesota is still likely a top 4 or 5 team in the West unless something terrible happens to Ant. it's crazy how leveraged all those picks are moving forward.

    If those are the teams that our pick bounces between, you’re talking about three historically awful franchises lately, which means if they stay status quo as bottom feeders, we probably keep our pick because they all end up worse than us. Not sure that leads to it likely being a late 1st.

    I think there's probably two teams that might do it - the Pistons/Knicks if they get they both get the boot early. maybe the Rockets if they trade KD - that would be beyond weird, but from a basketball standpoint, it would make a little bit of sense for them and us if we can get back our draft...

    I don't want to be the team that spends any more money or roster space to find out. Every year he's had a problem with his feet. At a young age. We blew two first round picks on him... we shouldn't waste any more capital in any way, IMO. Just too unreliable.

    I really don't believe there is a timeline with Booker. We're stuck in purgatory mostly because we don't have the assets needed to bring back a great player to pair him with to be a contender again. The timeline with Green/Fleming/Malauch is ground zero... total rebuild from the ground up.

    if there was ever a team that could be snookered into giving up good young talent for Booker, this could be it after a disastrous playoff run. Home-town hero comes back to lead the team to glory? Gimme some youngins and a bunch of picks and whatever salary is needed to make it happen.
