(Poll) Grade for the new uniforms

This is true! Almost every team had a grey facemask in 1955. Most phased them out between the 1970s - 1990s. This is not true. Grey Pantone 429C was one of the official team colors since 1955, as our own @TruColor could tell you. It's now simply been changed to silver Pantone 429C...

    New Uniforms for the Cardinals

When they replaced the grey facemasks with silver, and added silver flakes to the helmet. I.e. today.

... which is exactly what MANY people were hoping for!

    New Uniforms for the Cardinals

Excellent - I was wondering about that. Given that they made the slightly bold choice to add silver trim to the jerseys, I was hoping they'd change the grey facemasks to match. Nice!

    New Uniforms for the Cardinals

Yeah, they could've put that on the shoulders of the all-red home jerseys - since they omitted the stripes there - and then they wouldn't need the overly-large "ARIZONA" lettering that pushes the numbers oddly far down on the jersey.

    New Uniforms for the Cardinals

All-whites & all-black alternates: LOVE! Helmets w/ larger logo & metal flakes: LOVE! All-reds: I never particularly liked that combo, and that has not changed. Red top would be better with white pants. Interesting that they added "Arizona" on the home jerseys and deleted the shoulder...

I don't think you realize that DirecTV no longer has the rights to broadcast Red Zone or ANY NFL games.

Will Anderson Jr is that rare prospect who checks all the boxes.

I don't get why the angst over letting Murphy & Allen go is any greater than the angst over not signing anyone good. The advantage of keeping your own drafted players is that you can lock them up long term a year BEFORE their rookie contract expires, if you believe in their future potential and...

Ex-Cardinals VP Terry McDonough accuses Bidwill of cheating

Some time between 17 Apr 2019 and 20 Apr 2020 his title shifted from "Vice President, Player Personnel" to "Senior Personnel Executive". He remained listed as "Senior Personnel Executive" as recently as 17 Jan 2023. Corresponding to McDonough's title change, Quentin Harris' title changed from...

    Would you make this trade.

Well the hope, which has risen to the level of expectation by many on the board, is that the Cardinals can convince the Colts that they're actually willing to trade down to 7 or lower to a team wanting to take a QB, and the Colts will believe them and give them a modest haul to trade up to #3...

UPDATE: What if Houston shocks everybody !?

I would certainly expect the Texans to do to the Cardinals exactly what we're expecting the Cardinals to do to the Colts... call when they're on the clock and try to convince the Cardinals that they have such ridiculously strong offers to trade back, that they'd be willing to take a chance on...

    Free Agency

Sure... Those moves deserved criticism when the team claimed to be building upon a roster that was "almost good enough" (even though it may not have been) and trying to become an immediate contender. But in the current situation where everyone recognizes that the team is NOT going to be a...

    R I S E ___ U P ___ D A R K ___ S I D E (2023)

That is true... starting from 2006, they are 130-142-2 in the regular season for a .478 winning percentage, and 5-5 in the playoffs over 17 years. From 1920-2005, they were 451-648-39 in the regular season for a .413 winning percentage, and 2-6 in the playoffs over 86 years. Yes, it does. In...

    Would you make this trade.

Well yeah, but insisting that the Colts not draft Anderson tips your hand that you have an exceptionally big difference in value between trading back to #4 vs. #7, which enables them to offer far less than the Raiders or anyone else.

Arizona Cardinals sign OL Dennis Daley

Kittle was pretty danged close to out of bounds here. But sure, Hamilton had time to recognize that the whistle hadn't blown, and should've given him another shove. Still, easier for me to believe that he had a brain fart, than that he deliberately quit on the play. It wouldn't have taken a...

Arizona Cardinals sign OL Dennis Daley

I was under the impression (based on Hard Knocks & other info that came out at the time) that Hamilton thought the ball carrier had stepped out of bounds & didn't want to get penalized for a late hit. Not that he quit on the play or made a business decision not to tackle him in a lost cause...

    Would you make this trade.

Well that's the problem... It would be tough to simultaneously tell the Colts that you'll only accept their trade if they don't take Anderson, AND convince them that you're entertaining offers to move farther back. With that in mind, the Colts may get away with offering very meager compensation.

Lamar Jackson gets non-exclusive tag - Edit, New Deal!

Seems unlikely, but theoretically, with his tender un-signed, I think the Ravens could trade him for MORE than two 1sts, with the benefit to the receiving team being that they wouldn't have to offer a crazy contract structure with a poison pill that Baltimore would never match; they could...

    Vikings Sign Byron Murphy

100% agree that if providing free take home meals in the offseason is the league standard, the Cardinals should be doing it. But I'm not sure how doing so doesn't violate the salary cap. What other enticing perks can teams give to players? Should the team provide the players free gas for...

End of an Era - MadJack is out.

Sorry to hear, @MadJack! But just for the record.... Actually just one... and that was the first losing season in three years. Actually 12 (Stallings, Kuhlmann, Bugel, Ryan, Tobin, McGinnis, Green, Whisenhunt, Arians, Wilks, Kingsbury, Gannon) Sure... but dunno why Bidwill having to spend a...
