This is why saying a player named to a pro bowl is a big deal is so laughable. What used to mean something is now totally a joke.

His dad is threatening to “boycott” the NFL over his son’s treatment. I guessing that means barring scouts which would only hurt his players.

DeSean Watson has made a pro bowl hasnt he?? Back when he was with Houston?? I think so...could be wrrong I guess... but I seem to recall 2 or 3 for him..
then of course... the awesomeness of SHADeur Sanders propelled him to the pro bowl just recently right??

All things considered I have to admit he was actually better last year than I expected he would be. He wasn't good but he wasn't awful and I thought he'd be awful. If he could just learn to get rid of the ball faster, use his legs a bit he'd actually be much better.

I’ve followed him closely for years. I’d often been to FSU scouting while he was still playing. Admittedly he’s glib on the commercials, but he’s more stoic in real life. He has a huge ego and an extremely high opinion of his kids. He constantly is negative about how everyone else coaches them. Players do love to play for him, but he’s not popular with opposing coaches. He’s very critical of most everyone outside of his circle of influence. His stuff used to be fun when he played, but now it’s often mean spirited. If the Cards got his son, he would constantly be telling the coaches how his son should be handled.
