When exactly?
Oh, you'll know when it happens. You'll go buy different underwear because if you're not careful when you sit down.....you'll make sounds and inappropriate language will suddenly come out of your mouth and people will turn and stare at you.
And after 5 or 6 years they shrink back up and that's just as weird...;)
So, for all those under 50 folks...good luck!!

Lol. Negativism like "pay me closer to a starter if your intention is to start me"?
That negotiation is over. If he brings it to camp he must go. The Cards’ margin of effort is precariously small. I’m not saying no one has ever carried this sort of protest into camp. I am saying he has no leverage. If he fails to understand that the Cards must cut him loose. They have to have absolute loyalty at this point.

if jacoby isn't playing he might as well be wearing a t-shirt that says "i'm just here so i don't get fined"

seriously tho - cardinal special on aisle 4 - buy one hope for mediocrity and get one preseason distraction for free

for really tho - how many times does monti have to go en vogue?

never gonna get it never gonna get it
never gonna get it never gonna get it

wtf is going on man - does anybody know if jacoby is dyslexic because dude keeps acting like he went 11-1

gtfoh with that nonsense - go put your helmet on

Yeah there is real risk here in splitting the locker room.

The sad thing here is that he is his own agent so he has no one to blame for his current circumstances than himself. A real agent would have packed incentives on games started.
Even Minshew got a better deal than he did. Minshew has $5 million guaranteed.

This is very silly. He was hired as a backup to an established franchise QB. What would be the point of negotiating for playing time incentives?

I don’t understand how people who have been following the league for as long as those here don’t understand that the only thing that matters is guaranteed money.

Well, Brissett's contract had $8 million in guaranteed money, but it was front-loaded. The Cardinals have already paid him $6.5 million in guaranteed money, and he is still owed $1.5 million in guaranteed money, even if they part ways. He's acting like the team did him wrong or something by not guaranteeing him more money. He signed the deal. He was happy to sign it when he got his signing bonus and that up front guaranteed money. His career earnings are just shy of $68 million. He is so disrespected. Maybe he can pass his helmet around the stands at SFS, and we fans can chip in a few bucks to make him feel whole.

Jacoby got $6.5 million guaranteed on his initial contract here

Just discovered that when I looked up his deal. $8 million in guaranteed money over the life of the two-year contract he signed.

People have been pointing to him only having $1.5 million in guaranteed money while failing to mention that he already cashed in on most of the guaranteed money in his contract.

Cue a tiny little violin for JB. :violin:

He put in the low salary 2nd year. You are correct that his contract is very silly as he didn't protect himself from himself.
