Zac Gallen said he's "not gonna roll over and die" after a Wednesday loss to the Dodgers continued a run of struggles for him.
Gallen finished with five innings pitched, five runs allowed (four earned), nine hits and a season-low one strikeout, raising his ERA to 5.32. The D-backs are 5-8 in his 13 starts this season.

Vargas and Muncy collide at first and both are knocked out of the game. That collision is all on Nelson. He never went to cover first.

Nelson was extremely good tonight.
Carroll with a solo bomb on the 8th, to get it to 2-1 Dodgers. Gerry batting 7th ties the game later in the inning.
Seward comes in and shuts LA down in order in the top of the 9th… and then Marte… wow!

To be fair, when they traded for MCann last year and Gabby was hurt, to me that was the key to Gallen's resurgence. McCann just knows how to handle Zach and call the best game for him. This year, Torey never seemed smart enough to just have McCann be Zach's catcher.
he is terrible, they need to move him at deadline and try to get something

They shouldn't have "got him" in the offseason for this season. Not a smart move by the front office. Starters with a 5+ ERA are not exactly highly desired in the market. So, attempts to move him before the trade deadline will likely be futile.

And he now has 2 hits since 5/29. Both HR. Both v. LAD.
It's the 2nd time Dave Roberts inexplicably kept or brought in a LHP to face Marte, who he ultimately HR'd off, from the right side.
