    Maybe it's still fun if you are a fan of most of the P2 schools, but college sports, particularly football and basketball, are becoming horrible for most, including for ASU fans.

    OSU believes it has the brand to compete successfully as an independent and it turned down a chance to play in the WCC. It will be interesting to watch how that goes...

    UW hired Patrick Chun (who has ties to the Valley, btw) quickly but ASU's search drags on. At this point, I'm hoping ASU is waiting for David Benedict to finish up with UConn in the Final Four in the Valley.

    I'm glad I sat through the closing credits of the last episode. Seeing photos of the cast and the real airmen, one after another, was really touching. Amazing generation of American heroes, for sure.

    It would be nice if the delay is because Rocky Harris is just not available until his Olympics work is completed. From what I've read, Harris and the UConn AD, David Benedict, both of whom have ties to ASU and are highly regarded as sports administrators, would be great choices.
