He was a mistake draft pick...He was over-drafted and should have never been taken. We all know about his accuracy problems in college-that is something that was never going to be fixed. I could have seen drafting him and maybe have him make a position change (TE maybe?).
I'm sorry to say...
Good Riddance.....like I said and I know Barkley isn't the solution, but we couldn't even trust him last year-we had to go out and sign someone off of someone else's practice squad in our potentially best regular season ever. He was decent against grocery baggers but I would have actually...
Here's my take on it and I said it last week...We know what we have in Thomas-an unreliable 3rd string QB that we had to go out last year and get someone off the streets to Qb for us in the most important part of the season.....
I personally love Sims....I thought he looked pretty good last...
In my opinion and this might be a surprise to most, I would rather them keep Sims over Thomas. Thomas has already proven over his career that when it comes down to it, BA will never trust him in a meaningful game. I thought Sims looked better then him with great escapability and a good arm...
They should just go to a short passing game...wr screens and intermediate 5-10 yard passes. Go long every once in a while and start grinding the clock...
