    Suns sign Heywood Highsmith

Highsmith recovery might be not so smooth or he asked for release because of sure lack of playing time.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

I rank him no worse than Collins, Grant, Harris, but below Gordon and Anunoby

News from around the NBA 2026-2027

Absolutely. If the team is healthy, and with Bridges in, we don't need Allen's play making. Highsmith, Dunn and Kennard offer better D and no worse 3s than RO and Allen.

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

Dunn needs to learn playing defense the right way, not fully relying on athletism. Take a lesson from teammates Goodwin, Highsmith, or even Fleming. Manage to stay in front of your opponent all time, by harnessing your speed and explosion on D. I'm not worried about his offense, as he will...

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

I guess it's a question of price. Brooks signed for about the same for Powell, as true established 2nd-tier star on their teams. MB right now is comparable with Wiggins, Hachimura, Collins, Harris, but slightly better. For this year's market, it's fair for an extention offer with avg of 18-19m...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

He's good player whom the Nugs chose to retain over Gillespie a year ago.

    Suns 2026-2027 Season Discussion

Cool videdo. MB seems a humble and likeable guy with great skills there. I hope Peat and Fleming take good 1st-hand lessons from him.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Green is still young and without attitude problem the Morant's have. I trust Ott to bring out the best from him next season. From the talent and state of development point of view, he is the next likely prospect after Book to reach the allstar level, far ahead of Maluach and Peat on the current...

    Suns 2026-2027 Season Discussion

I trust Ott and the new roster that Suns would finish the 4-5th seed in the West. Last year we had long injury issues, where GA is gone, Green is expected to be back to normal, MW now gets much improved KM ready to take his min. Playmaking wise, Bridges replaces GA at the PF position with better...

    Suns sign Heywood Highsmith

Booker, Green, Brooks, Bridges, MW. Gillespie, Maluach, Goodwin, Oso. Fleming, Dunn, Peat, Highsmith, Kennard. The starters are set, and KM/Oso share 26min a game to back up MW. Gillespie would be the 6th man. Then Ott'd start the season giving Dunn, Fleming, and Peat regular court time to guage...

Suns draft Khaman Maluach with the 10th pick

Fully agree with the emphasis on setting hard screens. From MW to Oso and KM, our centers tend to avoid contact while setting screens, which makes the opposing defenders job easy. KM's court awareness improved a great deal over last season, which is also most important for him.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

He played fewer games with worse stats last season than MW, but salary being 50% higher.

    Suns sign Heywood Highsmith

Highsmith was semi starter on that NBA-finals Miami team a couple years back. He's the RO replacement, better on D, about equal on 3pt shooting, and much cheaper. He was coming back from season-ending injury and showed he can still play the same way. He's our insurance if we manage to get back...

    Suns Roster Post Draft 6-25-2026

Skill wise, Gillespie, Goodwin, Highsmith, Kennard are the first off bench. But team needs developing youngsters, so we'll see 2 of Peat, Fleming, Dunn getting time at 2-4. I hope Ott'd play by assessing bench players practice performance.

    2026 off season

Exactly. It's great to see Suns finally assamble a roster full of talents to start a season. I vividly recall the season after KD aquisition. After KD, Book and Beal who was always hurt, the best was GA and RO, and a bunch of failed min player signings, after giving up Camara in the offseason.
