I am well aware of the Pottsville curse. Glad the Maroons have not been forgotten. The city of Buffalo may have legitimate claims to the 1920 and 1921 titles. The NFL was quite turbulent in the 1920s. Hartford had a franchise in 1926.

For what it's worth, that IS a player ring. Frank Racis came straight from the coal mines; no college ball. I am impressed with the awareness of the Maroons here.
