Other than the huge gaping hole he leaves on the offensive end. Yes he is playing hard, I give him that right now.

Clearly it’s not his fault he is our “center” right now.

We need him on the defensive end a lot more than on offense, not to mention you are asking him to do something he is not capable of.

If we just get steamrolled in four games and don’t even give Fleming/Malauch a taste of playoff intensity, I’m not sure what the team really gets out of what’s likely to be a brief post-season appearance.

I can’t put my finger on it but Ott either coaches scared or he is stuck on “tradition” in that you shorten rotations to vets only.

Well, at least he would have tried instead of spinning his wheels in the mud like Ott has done with this team so far. He’s absolutely turtled. Flemming is a freak athlete, can run, stretch the floor and at least be a threat to slash to the basket and or hit 3’s.

There is no paint defense with Oso. None. He is liability on both ends with the exception of rebounding.

The guy defending Oso cheats because Oso is no threat away from the bucket. Teams are not intimidated by him defending the rim.

Ott is just going to continue to ignore this and go small ball when Oso goes to the bench. Teams with size kill them. Rinse and repeat.
