Well, not as exciting playing a lower level team, especially after the loss last week. But hopefully ASU takes out their frustrations on them. I expect a lot of ASU points. Hopefully, Manny Wilkins gets to play the second half. And I don't see Cal Poly scoring much with that triple option deal.

ASU 52
Cal Poly 10

Honestly, I would be surprised is Cal Poly scored at all.

The Sun Devils need to get their act together before looking down their nose at anyone. They haven't proved they can win a game yet.

True, but I do believe they learned a lot about themselves last week. Not just the team, but the coaching staff as well. I still believe they will be as good as predicted

Yep. If they don't beat Cal Poly by at least 4 TD's, holding them to under 14 points, it will be another disappointment for Graham and this program!

I'm certainly hoping you are right about the Sun Devils being good as predicted but this image is already tarnished.

They did not come out prepared or ready to play in their opener. Even if they beat Cal Poly it will not prove anything. I guess I expected more from the Sun Devils in their opener.

Me too. Poor offensive play calling hurt the Devils. Very predictable play calls and snap counts. I am willing to bet ASU ends up with a better record than A&M

I want the Sun Devils to play well but running up the score is not always an indicator of how good they are. They won't find that out until they play some proven teams.

If so, this just concerns me more.

Right now, I'm thinking Bercovici needs to run the ball more to keep the defenses honest but he is more of a passing QB. He needs time to pass. If he doesn't get it, it may eventually lead to juggling QBs which is not good news.

Of course. However, if they don't decisively handle Cal Poly - at HOME - it will speak loudly to just how poor the talent & coaching is on this team.

I'll take that bet.

With A&M in the SEC and their schedule, can't see them being better than 7-5. I am predicting a 6-6 record for them. ASU will be at least 8-4.

We'll see now won't we? ;-)

HA! Yep. A&M looked good, but just don't see them being better than the powerhouse SEC teams. They beat ASU, but it was a 1 score game with 4 min to go and ASU played horrible. I would hate to have to play Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miss, Miss St, Arkansas and S. Carolina. What's ridiculous about their schedule though is they play 8 home games (game against ASU was a home game for sure) and 4 road games. How does that happen??

Because A&M is a big money school. Most big money schools play more than half their games at home every single year. Sometimes, as many as 9 or 8. (ASU played 8 home games in 2013 I believe.)

So, schools that can make more money playing on the road at an A&M, instead of at home, take it and take the beating that often comes with it.

My view of A&Ms season chances? If they get elite QB play, they can definitely win in the SEC with their offensive weapons. (See Manziel) If Allen and Murray are average or worse, they will struggle. But, they have a ray of hope on defense for the first time in about a decade. Stealing Chavis from LSU looked like a hell of a coup after one game. This was a defense that struggled to get sacks and stop the run against ALL opponents. And they did both very well last week.

Not exactly a good reflection of your team if you're rating the team that just beat you by three touchdowns as a fringe bowl team.

Allen and Murray aren't good. I'd take ASU winning more games although I think they'll both end up 8-4.

On another note, looks like most of the sports world will not see the game tonight thanks to Larry Scott overplaying his hand (again). Where's Hoover to tell me how great of an AD he is?

Need a good performance tonight. Would really love to see the ball run up the middle and DJ to get going.
