Saw 2 movies this week I never knew about.

    Drive 2011

Ryan Gosling, Brian Cranston, Albert Brooks, Christina Hendricks, Ron Perlman et al

    Layercake 2004

Daniel Craig, Tom Hardy, Michael Gambon et al

Was able to watch them back to back, by chance, on Vice Network channel. They were edited ( language) so I rewatched on other sources.

Must be a slew of Sleeper movies out there I never knew existed.

    Got any?

If you liked Layer Cake, watch RocknRolla. A solid middle of the pack Guy Ritchie movie.

Love Layer Cake. It's the role that got Craig his gig as Bond. Directed by Matthew Vaughn who directed films like Stardust, X-Men: First Class, Kick-Ass, and Kingsman I and II.

Saw it. That is a good one also. Anything Guy Ritchie works for me.

I liked Layer Cake. Only issue I had with it is that I had to turn on the subtitles. And they were speaking English!

Stardust. Another underrated movie, imo. I really enjoyed it.

The Ice Harvest is on IFC now. I'm not a big Cusack fan, but this and War Inc are two of my favorites of his.

Things To Do in Denver When You Are Dead.

Bombed at box office. Should be a cult classic as a sleeper.

Subtitles were a must for Layer Cake! Actually I always turn them (unless I'm watching with my wife). I tend to pick up things I would otherwise miss.

I'd recommend Snatch if you liked Layer Cake.

Oh, I’ve seen all those neo-gangster Brit pics.
