He should do well there as its more his level. He couldn't meet expectations of a Power 5 conference school but is a good fit for smaller profile school.

This is patently false. He basically ran the PAC-12 for 9+ years with an overall 70%+ win percentage. Plus, the Big East is not a smaller conference like the WCC. He'll do well at Xavier because of fan support and comfort.

Miller never made it to a Final Four in his tenure at Arizona (which is the benchmark for elite coaches) despite having numerous top ranked recruiting classes. The pressure got so bad that he and his staff engaged in recruiting practices that landed UA in a major NCAA investigation that led to the dismissal of key members of his staff and ultimately cost him his job.

The Big East has pretty much belonged to VILL for almost a decade and aside from UCONN in 2013 & SYRACUSE in 2015 tournaments on VILL has made noise.

So this "average" coach who "couldn't meet expectations of a Power 5 conference school," in less than one calendar year, has his team ranked #8 (ahead of Arizona at the moment) and tops in the Big East; a more powerful conference than the Pac-12.

The notion that he couldn't coach was laughable. Some bad luck and some self-inflicted wounds while in Tucson.

Still won at an insane pace, just ran into the wrong team at the wrong time a few times.
